Here is the entrance of the castle. :) I wish I could stand at...

My hometown :) Potsdam. This is the old market (Alter Markt) and the pic is ca. 1900. On the right you see some pillars (I hope they’re called that way). Those were the entrance to the castle that once was build up there. It was destroyed in the ww2 but it’s now going to be rebuild again and hopefully finished in 2013 :)

At the Potsdam train station, they have a huge model of the city on display. I love stuff like this, and miniature “worlds” are pretty popular in Germany. I wish they were more common in the US.
